Croydon Wedding

Today saw the wedding of Tatum and Gareth. Being the photographer at their Oaks Farm wedding was great fun and Tatum & Gareth were a real joy to work with. For a March wedding, the weather in Croydon was fantastic for photography and made a real difference to the couples day. It enabled us to do the majority of the wedding photography outdoors, as Surrey was basking in sunshine.

Sunday is the day of rest?

Full day of portraits today, firstly Cassie with her two children. For whatever reason, I seem to be getting a run of two year olds and today was no exception. At two years old, you can no longer sit children down in a position & get some good shots before they move, but they are still not old enough to take direction. So, all you can do is hope that whilst running around on the backdrop, they turn and face you for long enough to get some decent shots! Joking aside, the whole family was a lot of fun & we got some shots I know they will be thrilled with.

Next up was Steve and Laura whose two boys were thankfully old enough to take direction, which does make my job a little easier :-)

Incidentally, Steve and Laura had intended to bring their dog, a six month old Labradoodle. Now that would have been interesting!

Then we had Kris with his family who brought a range of props which really made my job easier. Ask for an impression of Frankie Cocozza from X Factor and cue Victor on the guitar!

Trevor and Kelly

When I say Kelly and Trevor’s wedding was a great wedding, I mean a GREAT wedding. Rarely do you see this many people having so much fun in one place. These two families couldn’t wait for the evening entertainment, at the wedding breakfast they were dancing between courses!

The best thing for me, there was so much love between these two, it made my job a breeze. The chemistry was amazing and they were a joy to work with.

Wedding Fair

Today was spent at a Wedding Fair in Hampton Court. The iPad was on slideshow and I only realised once I got home, the photo on the stand is the same image as the one on display on the iPad!
Believe in coincidences?….

Ali & Richard

Who’d believe this October sun! When I booked Ali & Richards engagement shoot, I was expecting big coats, hats & scarfs, instead we were blessed with gorgeous winter sunshine!
Well I think we all had a great afternoon in Greenwich Park and now none of us can wait till the big day in December.

The Wedding of Zoe & Marc

Following on from the hottest day in September, this was the hottest October day on record and not really what either Zoe or Marc would have imagined when they booked their October wedding! But the Beautiful venue made the most of it and the ceremony was held outside and all the guests were able to enjoy a lovely afternoon celebrating in the sun.

Ross & Chloe’s Engagement Shoot

The lovely Ross and Chloe are due to get married next year and these are some images from their engagement shoot. And now that they are real pro’s in front of the camera I am really looking forward to taking their photos again on their wedding day.
