Nadine and Greg’s Eltham Palace Wedding
For anyone that follows our blog it’s well known that we love photographing weddings at Eltham Palace, and as one of their recommended photographers it’s somewhere we are lucky enough to work at quite a lot.
Nadine and Greg’s big day was exactly that, a BIG day! With a high number of guests invited the ceremony was to be held in the great hall, and then afterwards the day was jam packed with events throughout the rest of the afternoon, so there was a lot going on.
We started the day with Nadine and her bridesmaids at The Tower Thistle Hotel in a room with fantastic views out over Tower Bridge. Arriving at Eltham Palace it was time to split up and Jeff stayed with Nadine, while Sarah went to see Greg and his groomsmen. It’s always nice for couples to see the photos of what each of them were doing before the ceremony and being two of us this is something we can do.
The Great Hall looked stunning set up for the ceremony, we have photographed many weddings in the entrance hall, but this was to be our first in the Great Hall. With the extra long aisle we were able to get some lovely images from the front and back of the aisle as Nadine and Greg saw each other for the first time (again the perfect thing about there being two of us).
The beautiful sunny weather meant that after the ceremony everyone was able to enjoy drinks and games outside on the lawn, including a few highly charged table football games. And the entertainment did not stop there. Nadine had arranged for dance show to start the wedding breakfast, as well as a number of dance displays after dinner, it was all pretty impressive!
As always at Eltham Palace the team did a fantastic job of running the day and everyone had a great day. Nadine and Greg huge congratulations to you both! xx
