Sara and Cameron’s Port Lympne Wedding
(as featured in Your Kent Wedding Magazine)
We alway’s knew this was going to be a great wedding.
For starters it was at one of our favourite venues, Port Lympne Hotel. Secondly Sara and Cam are a lovely couple and we had been looking forward to working with them since we first met them.
We arrived at Port Lympne to find Sara getting ready with her bridesmaids. Sara was a little nervous, worrying about the chance of rain (there were beautiful blue skies outside), so we did our best to reassure her that everything would go to plan and be fine, which of course it was! Sara looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress, completing the look with a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo’s!
As the weather was so good the ceremony was to be held outside and Big Day Prop Hire had done a fantastic job of lining the aisle with white blossom trees, it looked stunning.
Cameron wasn’t nervous at all and looked very dapper in his Tom Ford suit, dusty blue tie and pocket square, perfectly matched to the colour scheme of the day. Then as we knew would happen, as soon as Sara saw Cameron all those earlier nerves disappeared.
The theme of the day was travel, inspired with all the tables being named after countries that Sara and Cameron had travelled to. The cake and wedding favours also followed the theme with a compass for each guest as well as compass wine stoppers for the ladies and aeroplane bottle openers for the gents.
No Port Lympne wedding would be complete without going on Safari, so after dinner and speeches all the guest (and us of course), boarded the trucks to go and see the animals. Afterwards we even had some time for a few photographs in the Morrocan Court Yard, before it was time to dance the night away to Electric Ocean, who the band for the nights entertainment.
Sara and Cameron’s day did not disappoint, it was as good as we hoped it would be, the hardest job was choosing our favourite photos to share, so enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed taking them!
We wish you both and very long and happy marriage. xx
