Lympne Castle Wedding Photographer
Lympne Castle is a hidden gem, set in the beautiful Kent countryside it overlooks the coast with views all the way to France on a clear day.
As a Lympne Castle wedding photographer one of my favourite photos to take is the bride and groom looking out over the castle walls towards the coast.
Parts of the Castle date back to to the 13th century, and its now a grade 1 listed building. As well as the main castle buildings, the estate also has a series of cottages. These are available to stay in and make a great location for bridal preparations, then it is just a short walk along the castle drive way to get to the ceremony.
The castle has a couple of different rooms where the ceremony and wedding breakfast can be held. We particularly like the West Drawing Room for the ceremony, with its lovely big bay window the room fills with a warm light and it also gives us photographers a little more room to capture the ceremony without being in the way.
Like all good wedding venues Lympne Castle has beautifully kept grounds and gardens. For photography this is excellent as we have plenty of places to take group photographs as well as being able to take the bride and groom somewhere more private for their couple photos.
The Great Hall makes an ideal room for the wedding breakfast, speeches and evening dancing. It looks fantastic both set up for dinner and then it really opens up for the dancing in the evening.
Lympne Castle is a venue we really enjoy photographing, so if you are looking for a Lymph Castle wedding photographer get in touch here.
